About Our Flare Pilot Monitoring & Stack Ignition System
You can’t afford interruptions in flaring. Fortunately, there’s a clear solution.
The Tornado Pilot Monitoring and Auto-Relight (TPMR) System has set the standard for flare stack ignition systems. Not only is it the most reliable system available, but we also designed it with convenience, efficiency, and maintainability in mind.
Federal regulations require you to have an ignition system installed in your flares. You may as well have the best.
About TPMR
TPMR is the most reliable ignition system for flares available on the market.
It consists of a continuous pilot and a self-contained relight system and comes with very low fuel consumption at only 25 SCFH.
The ignition system has a self-contained auto-relight mechanism that guarantees continuous operation. When a flame out happens, the system will automatically detect a temperature change and reignite the flare pilot until the thermocouple signal confirms there is a continuous flame, ensuring constant flaring and constant compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
If for whatever reason, the relight system is unable to establish a contact flame after a set number of minutes, which can be adjusted to your preference, the relight system will trip an alarm.

Do You Need a Replacement?
If your current ignition system requires you to manually relight the pilot frequently, your existing pilots experience frequent flame outs due to wind or inconsistent gas flow, or maintenance on your system requires access and lifting equipment or even shutdowns, you should contact us about a replacement.
