POSITION TITLE: Permian Region Sales Representative
Based in the Midland Odessa TX area Reporting to the North American Sales and Business Development Director, the Permian Region Sales Representative will be responsible for driving business development for Tornado in The Permian Basin Shale Gas operating areas. This role will be accountable for all sales, business development and marketing activities for the region.
Duties
- Management of sales forecast, opportunities pipeline and order conversion process.
- Proactively seek market expansion through acquisition of new customers and sectors.
- Travel within the territory of responsibility 25-30%
- Contribute to the development and execution of the Sales, and growth strategy for the business in the region of responsibility.
- Respond to and follow up on sales and customer inquiries using appropriate methods and extracting appropriate data.
- Responsible for customer service, communication, issue resolution and account management for the business.
- Leverage sales & market data to develop business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts and products.
- Collaborate with sales director & other department heads to help drive business improvement through new product introduction, continuous learnings, and development of a comprehensive product marketing strategy.
- Establish and maintain long term relationship with customers and support them for all issues concerning the products.
- Understand all pricing practices and how they impact profitability by product.
- Provide timely communication with management and department heads – including activity reports - on all events in the marketplace that could affect the company, including competitive analysis, market trends, opportunities, and customer feedback

- Good Contacts – Should have a basis of contacts within the Permian Basin, key decision makers that buy process equipment and the key persons influencing the business decisions.
- Market/Competition Knowledge – Should have good knowledge on the market behavior, trends, information, and competition to plan the right moves and win business.
- Analytical – Should be able to analyze the situation and take suitable decisions with sound judgment.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years sales, marketing, or BD experience
- Well developed network of contacts in US O&G space (Midland / Odessa area)
- Working knowledge of facility oil and gas process equipment (flare stacks, Heat transfer and/or combustion systems) an asset.
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office applications & Salesforce CRM tools.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent communicator: ability to deliver effective sales presentations.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.

Education
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering discipline or Business Administration preferred.
